Tyne was nominated for her role as Miss Alice in 1995, and finally won it in 1996. A well deserved reward for an incredible character and actress. 'Christy' aired on CBS in 1994-1995. For the show's subject matter it's shocking it was on the radar for the 48th Emmy Awards, let alone a win.
